Mike Merrigan, founder of Merrigan Roofing, launched the company with one main vision: to deliver excellence in roofing to families and businesses in the Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, and greater Charlotte areas.

After graduating college from UNC Wilmington in '91, Mike Merrigan went to work for a one of the nation's largest roofing distributors which maintains a local branch here in Charlotte.

Mike took his distribution experience, and landed himself a territory position with the worldwide leader of commercial roof fastening systems in the Mid-Atlantic region.

In 1996, Mike was approached, and accepted a territory position with North America's largest roofing manufacturer. He spent over a decade helping to share ideas, factory certify, train, and educate roofing contractors on best practices within the industry. He was recognized with two national awards, the"Extra Mile Award", and the "Presidents Club".

In the fall of 2008, Mike, his wife Diane (East Meck. graduate, 22+ years experience as a flight attendent), and two Torrence Creek Elementary children moved to the beautiful community of Wynfield in Huntersville, NC to be near family.
